What is salvation? How does God work this miracle in our lives?
What is a believer to do in response to salvation? What is God's will, purpose, and plan for those who receive salvation? What enables a believer to be rooted, built up, and established in salvation? What are the promises, rewards, and benefits of salvation? One of the greatest themes that confronts the heart and mind of man is God's eternal salvation. It is not a trivial subject; it is a matter of eternal life or eternal death. Many preachers and writers have endeavored to expound upon it. Yet some have found it very difficult to comprehend God's grace that forgives all our sins, without preconditions, without works, through faith in Christ Jesus.
Missionary and teacher Bill Pierce writes on the subject of salvation with humility, compassion, and a forthright use of much Bible. He brings clarity where there is confusion. He brings salvation to practicality as it applies to a Christian’s daily life in their walk with the Lord. While he is forthright in the usage of the Bible mixed with his commentary, he quotes carefully and accurately with the authority of the Holy Bible. The gospel is the good news of God’s grace and forgiveness toward sinful man through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. So Great Salvation shows us that we can be confident of our salvation, certain we are forgiven by God, sure we are destined for an eternal relationship with God Almighty, and enabled to live the abundant victorious life as we fulfill God’s will, purpose, and plan for our lives. |
